Please do your best to make any and all appointments. Not only does this help you stick to your care plan and heal, but also for the doctor and other patients to plan their schedule.
In order for us to continue to serve this community in this capacity, please be courteous and provide at minimum 24 hours to cancel or reschedule you and your families appointments.
Cancellations made prior to 24 hours of your appointment will not be charged any fees. Cancellations or rescheduled appointments made less than 24 hours of your appointment and no shows may be charged the FULL amount of the service booked. A card will be required at the time of booking.
An email, text, or social media message does not qualify as a cancellation. You are responsible for your appointments and have access to them through our online scheduling portal. You cannot access your appointment within the 24 hour period, so please plan accordingly.
Cancelling appointments takes away times for existing patients and we take those times very seriously. We allow new patients to reschedule their initial consultation and report of findings One time. If a patient must reschedule more than that, we have the right to refer you to an alternative office.
Please be respectful of our time and your fellow practice members.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your scheduled appointment.
This will allow you to unpack your kids from the car, use the restroom, and take a breather before we begin.
Even if you are 5 minutes late, it can set a chain reaction to the rest of the doctors schedule and make other patients who were on time wait-which is unfair. Furthermore, it will give us less time to review, assess, and do what's needed during your appointment.
We are sympathetic that sometimes unavoidable situations come up, but with appointments scheduled every 10 minutes, you've already missed half of your scheduled appointment time. To accommodate every practice member, we will shorten your appointment time if you arrive late.
If you are 10 minutes late, your appointment will be rescheduled and you may either have to wait or charged fully, depending on the doctors availabilty.
For services, there may be non-refundable deposits.
These deposits will apply towards your cost of care.
For Doula services, once we all decide this is a good fit, the EDD works in the doulas schedule, and contract has been signed, the deposit will be due at half of the entire service fee.
For chiropractic patients, a deposit of $80 for initial consults and $40 for re-exams will be required. The appointment will Not be booked without this deposit.
These deposits will go towards the appropriate service.
For established practice members, a credit card will need to be kept on file.
If you need to reschedule your initial consultation, please do so within 24 hours. If it is after that 24 hours, your appointment will be charged in FULL with the card on file.
If you no call, no show your initial consultation or re-exam, we have the right to refer you to another chiropractor and charge the card on file for the full amount of the initial consultation.
HIPPA means your private information will not be shared with anyone without your consent.
All booking, charting, communication and payment software that I use is HIPAA compliant.
To protect my personal safety, my partner is informed of the location of every home/out of office visit as stated in the consent sheet.
In order to give the highest-quality of care not limited by insurance parameters,
The Haven does not accept insurance.
Instead, we offer cost-effective care plans and packages in order to not commonly save time, energy, and money down the road (over the costly expenses of surgeries, injuries, hospitalizations, and medications).
Many holisitic health fields are leaning towards not taking he insurance system due to their providers being overworked and underpaid, and thus not able to give the best care to patients. Additionally, accepting insurance means that the costs of care actually go up in order to pay involved parties (such as billers).
